I use this app with several others in tow (they all have certain strengths and weaknesses). I also combine this app with object catalogs, like Messier, Cadwell, general star reference books, etc. When in the field, under very dark skies, this app certainly helps out when your minimum magnitude becomes fainter and its difficult to near impossible to separate the dense star fields...hats-off to the developers; the small fee to own such an excellent product is a mere after-thought. For those new to astronomy, to those using scopes, binoculars, or the naked eye, this app becomes (pardon the cliche) priceless....
P.S. I especially like this app when Im searching for double, triple, and small star cluster fields. And I truly enjoy the short descriptions associated with the app. I also -- I could go on for quite awhile pointing out this apps many, many features, but I wont; this is a review, and listing what I like and use would require writing a short book. Well, you get the point, me thinks....JWS
