Superbe

Desservi par une icone qui ne donne pas forcement envie, la qualité de lapp est excellente.. Superbe presentation, superbe contenu, apres avoir tout acheté, cest celle que jutilise au quotidien. Fantastic app (with a not so beautiful icon, but that do not represent what you will have inside!). Fantastic app, the one I use after having bought all the others. Great work!

Very very good!

Use your iPad like a telescope pointing it to the direction you want to explore. Also, use it to find objects and, then, point your telescope to watch them.

this is the app you have to buy!

forget about all the other stargazing apps. luminos is the one youve been looking for! it allows you to do whatever you want; land on planets, or orbit with them; speed up time (back and forth); see the beautiful images taken by hubble, see the stars, constellations, satellites… and endless information about every little thing. its really worth buying.

Amazing

Ive tryed several planetary apps, and Luminos really caught my attention. Its the best! Its worth buying it and taking your devide to the field for an observation session with Luminos.

Excellent

Really great astro app. Many features and perfect UI experience. Support was really fast and friendly. I would rate it with even 6 stars if possible.

Really GREAT!

Very useful for astronomical excursions. This App allows to look for observable asteroids, comets, planets, moons, satellites for the observation-night. Nice are the checklists for Messier, Herschel400 and Caldwell-Objects. But a tiny error: the coordinates of Ceres are different if you to look them as a dwarf planet or as an asteroid. The error was today about 2 minutes in RA and 14 minutes (!!) in Deklination. Too much....

Beautiful and powerful

This is an amazing App for anyone interested in Astronomy and who want to go that little bit farther than most other apps or planetarium tools support. The ability to fly along with satellites and to land on the surfaces of asteroids, planets, etc, allow us to travel to these amazing worlds in the only way that our current technology allows. The tools available are very easy to use and master. The ability to update all the various satellite data and data for comets and asteroids is an exciting and useful feature. There is very little that this wonderful App cant do, and Im sure that even that will be taken care of soon enough. The appearance of the sky during daylight and at night are attractively rendered and very realistic. Everyone I have shown Luminos to are blown away by it, and you will be too. Well done, Luminos!

Keep up the great development

Fantastic app. If youre serious about astronomy then this is the app for you. It has all of the features that most apps have and boat loads more. Ability the control the timescale, track thousands of asteroids, comets and satellites is brilliant. Scary to know what is floating around out there but brilliant to present. The ability to fly to other objects and see the skies from other angles is stunning. The ability to see Hubble photos and some 2.5 million stars simply makes this a one stop shopping for all Why are yo still reading this review ? You should be downloading this now instead!!

Beautiful

An exceptional app! Beautifully executed and packed with features. Its a bit of a learning curve for the astronomy novice, but worth the purchase to grow in to. For the avid skywatcher, it is a necessity. Highly recommend.

Really Great Application

Im not sure where I can across a review of this app, but I figured Id give it a try as the other program I use, Stellarium, is not as fully featured on iOS devices as it is on computers. Luminos is incredibly heavy on the features, has a huge wealth of information about the night sky and the objects you can see up there. The lists and challenges section is a really nice touch as well, being able to track what youve seen, when and your notes sort of really does away with an observing log book. If you have an iOS device and youre an amateur (or professional) astronomer this is the app to get!

Great app

Simply the best astronomy app out there. Also constantly updated.

If you have only one astronomy program...

...make sure it is this. A most excellent product.

Great! Beautiful app

The best astronomy app I ever downloaded. A beautiful product with stunning graphic. I was looking for a valid Celestia alternative for my IPad and finally I found this product. Believe me, 6 euros well spent.

Great app

Wonderful app, very useful and easy to use.

The best!

I have been raked over the coals by Southern Stars (Sky Safari) now twice on expensive ($40) upgrades before finding this amazing app. This Dev updates app often without charging you outrageous upgrade fees every few months! It includes everything Sky Safari has to offer and more! A huge thank you for the updates! Please keep up the great work and know its appreciated very much by those who are not rich enough to keep paying ridiculous update costs just to get bug fixes. Southern Stars left Sky Safari 4 a buggy mess and abandoned it fixing these bugs in Sky Safari 5, but charging people $40 for those bug fixes. Never again! Thank you Luminos!

One of the Best-of-the-Best...

I use this app with several others in tow (they all have certain strengths and weaknesses). I also combine this app with object catalogs, like Messier, Cadwell, general star reference books, etc. When in the field, under very dark skies, this app certainly helps out when your minimum magnitude becomes fainter and its difficult to near impossible to separate the dense star fields...hats-off to the developers; the small fee to own such an excellent product is a mere after-thought. For those new to astronomy, to those using scopes, binoculars, or the naked eye, this app becomes (pardon the cliche) priceless.... P.S. I especially like this app when Im searching for double, triple, and small star cluster fields. And I truly enjoy the short descriptions associated with the app. I also -- I could go on for quite awhile pointing out this apps many, many features, but I wont; this is a review, and listing what I like and use would require writing a short book. Well, you get the point, me thinks....JWS

luminos9

luminos9 is the best astronomy app Ive ever had, and I have several I thought Distant Suns was good, but its got nothing on Luminos9. Well worth your time. Excellent for planet positioning, and stars near and far. Perfect for satellite spotters, comets, etc. Cant be beat

Worth every penny

This is the astronomy app for everyone. It is easy to use for casual sky watchers and powerful enough for advanced observers. You can find and track anything in the sky, including satellites. You can see the view of the sky from the surface of any body in the solar system. You can zoom out and see the solar system from above and observe their motion over time. It shows the positions of the moons of Jupiter. This is not a feature you see in every astronomy app. This is the one you want- regardless of your level of expertise.

Luminos

One of the very best observation apps in the store. Worth the $15. Expensive, but amazing. IPhone 5c is limit though on usability do to so many option. Wish I had more storage.
